Hello!

It’s been a while since my last post.. For a while there hasn’t been anything really interesting to write about. I am still alive, very healthy, and quite busy recently. Last week I had to take my midterm exams and I got the results back this week. I must say I am really happy with the results!

Before I had to take the exam we did get a short explanation how what it would look like, but I had no idea how to prepare for it. For these two exams I studied my Chinese characters as best as I could, so that I would be able to read the assignment and write the answers. It turned out to be a good way! For my grammar exam I scored 87 out of 100. I screwed up in the last part, where we had to read a story and answer five questions. This smalls story had a lot of new words that we didn’t learn yet.. In this section I lost 8 points.

Next to the grammar exam we also had to take an oral/listening exam. For this exam I scored a 95 out of a 100! I am very happy with these scores, it’s going well!

Furthermore I found a part-time job, it’s nothing solid tho.. For now I am a substitute English teacher at a preparation school. I have to teach students from 6 tot 15 (more or less). It’s fun, it pays well and it keeps me off the street. At least during the day,, hehehe.

That’s it for now. Oh no, one more thing.. With the ending of daylight saving the current time difference is one more hour than before. So for Holland the difference is now 7 hours.
