Old habits never die, that’s right!

I’ve been in China for almost one month now, and I picked up swimming again. During the time that Rob stayed with me we also swam two times, but now I really picked it up again… Swimming two times a week to stay in shape a little.

The pool I swim in is not close to home, but it’s worth to travel a little for it. The name of the pool is “Xiamen Kitool Spring Water Health Club” (厦门棕榈泉水体健身俱乐部) and it’s located near the Marco Polo area. On the way to the pool the taxi driver usually takes a shortcut, driving through some one way roads. On the back home I have to travel a little further. In general it takes around 15 minutes to get there, not so bad ha..

This pool is probably the cleanest one in Xiamen, but also the most expensive one. Today I bought a card for 20 times entry, it cost me 850 yuan, say 90 euro. You might think wow so much?! It’s like 4,50 each time I go there, and look at what I get:

  • Six 25 meter lanes
  • Three 50 meter lanes
  • A big area with all kinds of water massage
  • Another area with all kinds of water and saunas.

That’s not bad for 4,50 each time. Now you probably want to know what it looks like ha? Well I manage to find one good pictures, so here we go.

Picture of the massage area.

This is the area with all the water massage.

The swimming lanes

The swimming lanes, with in front an area to work out.

That was about it, it’s just one of those things. Like going to the cinema every once in a while, but I’ll get back on that another time. Bye bye for now.
